Anxiety is a normal part of life. Primary anxiety is inevitable - money worries, our own health and that of those we love, time stress are all often to some extent out of our control. Secondary anxiety is worrying about the effects of Primary - not being able to get to sleep and panicking about how tired and ineffectual that will make you in the morning.

The body remembers what the mind tries hard to forget, so muscles, particularly those of the neck, are often held in tension without you realising. A tense muscle is a fatigued muscle. A fatigued muscle is highly susceptible to injury.

Other forms of stress management techniques may be beneficial, such as talking therapies or hypnotherapy in conjunction with osteopathic massage to ease the symptoms and support you through difficult times.
